An Edwardian silver and glass inkwell watch holder by William Comyns, London 1905. Plain domed form, overlaid with embossed rococo scroll cartouches of pastororial women, the hinged lid with two women and a dog. 7.5 cm high.
This beautiful item has had a bit of a knock on the bottom as can be seen, does not detract from the inkwell when displayed.
